No. There's a one-time activation, then you only pay for the compute, AI, transcription, and storage you actually use.
What's a credit worth? +
Credits are the in-app unit; we peg reporting at $0.01 per credit. You spend them on usage — nothing expires on a monthly clock.
Do I pay for idle servers? +
Never. Compute is billed per minute only while a Broadcast Server is running, and you tear it down when the show ends.
Can I just self-host? +
Yes. Run it in single-tenant mode on your own infrastructure with your own keys — no metering, no credits, the whole studio.
Will I get surprised by a bill? +
The app labels every credit-costing action with its price before you trigger it, estimates recording storage up front, and breaks your spend down by area.
